It is bizarre. I always thought it looked ugly in pictures. The first time I went to Barcelona I reluctantly agreed to go see it and it blew my mind....

This is not sunrise. Definitely late day sun/sunset. They don't open before sunrise and the angle of this photo in the church is likely facing southeast, with the sun shining in from the southwest.

I had never even heard of Gaudi until I was visiting Barcelona, but by the end of the trip I was in awe of his works. Sagrada Família was breathtaking, I’ve never seen anything like it.

same here. we went on a school trip. my teacher made us go, and to this day it's the most beautiful building i've ever set foot in. it's been 20 years
